Audiobook Review - Trollogy!

Despite rolling their eyes every time I mention my website (OK, so I may have mentioned it quite a lot!), the children keep asking ‘have you told everyone about Trollogy! yet?’ Trollogy! is by Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore, and is actually the third book in the Tales of the Dark Forest series (the first being Whizzard!
). But we didn’t realise this when we listened to it on a car journey - and it stands up on its own very well.
The story is about a troll called Bertram who befriends Cliff - a lemming who can’t quite bring himself to jump off a mountain like the other lemmings! The two begin a series of adventures together in hilarious fashion. This is a really funny story with lots of puns and jokes. There is bullying scene in it that sensitive children may not like, but Bertram manages to defeat his enemies without getting nasty in return.
We think Trollogy is well worth a listen. We are currently listening to book two Knyghtmare
(havent got to book one yet!!) but aren’t enjoying it quite as much - we will keep you posted. We got the audiobooks from Audible and they are also available from Audible UK
