As a home educator, I am always on the lookout for free resources I can use - and places where I can share the ones I find!! There are lots of websites that focus on this - here are a few that I use.
- Home_Education_Resources is a yahoo group to “find and promote resources for home educators”, especially free resources.
- Homeschool Free Stuff is a weekly mailer that is full of, well, free stuff! A lot of it is American only, but they always include a list of links at the bottom that can be useful.
- Donna Young has lots of printables on her site - including blank planners, maps and graph paper. We like the blank comic book sheets (look under Art).
- IndigoShirl has set up a new website for HE Free Resources. I have found some of the links here useful already.
- There is a large Directory of home education resources on the Kent home educators site.
- By Other Means has some excellent resources that I use quite a lot (and check out her ‘Not a School Bag!).
- Home Education Resources have lots of links to printables.
- A to Z Homes Cool is a huge site with lots of links about everything.
There are more of course!! Let me know which ones you find useful.
