Escape Room Games

I don’t usually enjoy computer games very much, but I found myself sneaking off to play this escape room game Rental House (until the children noticed and took over!!).  It does take a long time to load but is very intriguing. A clue to this one is that the square on the dartboard is in position 15. [...]

Snowflakes craft

If you are doing christmas decorations at the moment, try this snowflakes site.  We have had a lot of fun with the mini-flakes – adding them to our decorations and home-made christmas cards. And the high-resolution photographs of snowflakes are wonderful!

Educational Interview

Am still hunting for home education podcasts, and during my search I found The Goldston Acadamy Blog.  Amanda has recently been interviewed on  a radio station called “Interview with Spirit”. The result is a very interesting discussion about conciousness based education – its not about home education as such, but about education in general.  Its about an hour [...]

This classic series of three-minute educational vignettes combined animation, hip music, and catchy lyrics to tackle lessons in American history, the rules of grammar, multiplication tables, science, government, and finance. Its toe-tapping [...]
