My son has wanted to be able to write his own computer games for ages - but I struggled to find some software he could use easily.

Geography Tetris
Found a great Tetris game - using UK counties instead of shapes. Its at http://www.mapmsg.com/games/statetris/uk/ and there are other countries available too - including USA states and European countries. Great for geography. Have fun!!
